In 1998 ROADSAFE Motorcycle Riding Techniques was formed. Company directors Andrew and Lynne Templeton have been riding motorcycles both on and off road for 18 years, they share a wealth of knowledge gained from training locally and abroad. Right from the word go Roadsafe has been actively involved in promoting motorcycle safety and awareness by working with both the private sector and local government - providing assistance with such events as Road safety campaigns and 'The motorcyclist of the year' competitions. Roadsafe recently developed the following programs: Ulysses - Hamilton. Development of a mentor program for club members to assist inexperienced and returning riders. This program was and is immediately applicable to the on-road environment. Included in NZ Posts' training package was the production of an Instructional video with the cooperation of the New Zealand Police. Since the company started, Roadsafe have trained over 8000 motorcyclists. Roadsafe have redefined rider training in New Zealand by incorporating modern techniques and teaching styles.
